One of the first exhibitions held are the art exhibitions. From the very classic ones to the interactive ones. With improvement of technology, exhibitions are being done more and more unique and innovative. Graphic designers as a artists which are all about graphics are doing the exhibitions on another level and combine everything what can be combined, such as interactivity, different way of decorating the space, lighting, different materials, different space for the exhibition, color-scheme, and many others.
Clear your head every day
One of the very different and interesting exhibition spaces i found is exhibition called "Clear your head every day".Graphic pattern used all over the space combining blue and white is used in the lego tables on the floor as well and it really stands out and making space vibrant. It runs though almost all the work presented. As you enter the gallery, there is a series of 30 new 10x15 inch prints framed in clear perspex along the left hand wall. At the back, are two super bright fluro prints with woodblock text.
The Art of Smell
This exhibition called The Art of Smell is the very different and innovative. The space was barely empty with with walls but still very powerful and complex.
It was being said that the smell is the sense most associated with memory, and the iconic fragrances, so this show as all about the invisible art form- scent. People were having opportunity going down on memory lane with smelling some of their favourite smells. The room is having the infinite white walls with a little bit of shaping where a person can come near and smell "the wall". Mechanism behind it is really amazing and it is brilliant how it has been done.
Bauhaus: Art as a Life Design
This exhibition is the largest exhibition focusing on the iconic art school to be held in the UK for almost 40 years. The exhibition is reinterpreting the spacial structure of the gallery to create a bespoke viewing experience for exhibition visitors. They are using Bauhaus' own principles of colour, structure and typography- painted walls, bold panels and supergraphics which draw together objects, themes and ideas, and the typeface used throughout is a contemporary revival of the letterpress typeface used within the Bauhaus itself, Breite Grotesk,
